Cut From Courage was started by Justin Moore who was an infantry paratrooper of the 1/504th B Company in the 82nd Airborne. He was deployed to Afghanistan in 2002 and Iraq in 2003. He was tired of trying to find the perfect fitting t-shirt after realizing that every t-shirt was made to either make you look like a slob or a stuffed sausage, so he developed his own clothing line for fellow American patriots.

Founded in the heart of Pittsburgh in 2025, “Cut From Courage” emerged from the vision of custom tailored apparel and a can do spirit. The seamstress(aka the wife), known for her impeccable craftsmanship, dreamed of bringing high-quality fashion to a wider audience. The businessman, recognizing the potential for a brand that catered to the growing demand for stylish and custom tailored apparel, joined forces with her. Together, they established “Cut From Courage”, starting with a modest collection of handmade t-shirts and tailored pants that emphasized sleekness, elegance, and durability.

In the 2025, CFC expanded its offerings to include a variety of clothing lines for men, and in the near future a womens line that will be a sister company called “Shield Maidens.” The company’s commitment to quality quickly garnered a loyal customer base and attracted the attention of patriots and fashion enthusiasts. The founders were pioneers in incorporating innovative fabrics and techniques, always staying ahead of fashion trends while maintaining their dedication to timeless style. Their vision and hard work transformed CFC into a symbol of quality and attention to detail.

Today, CFC remains a family-owned business, and will be passed down. It has embraced modern direct to film printing technology while staying true to its founding principles.
